JSMU concludes 20-day faculty development program aligned with UN SDGs Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) successfully concluded its 20-day Faculty Development Program under the Higher Education Faculty Development in Pakistan (HEDP) initiative. Funded by the National Academy of Higher Education ) and supported by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the program aligned with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 5, and others.

The program, organized under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Amjad Siraj Memon, was led by Director QEC Dr. Abdul Wahid Usmani and expertly coordinated by Prof. Huma Ali, a key figure in the program’s success.

It featured ten modules covering modern teaching methodologies, technology integration, research, and policy orientation.Certificates were awarded to 30 faculty members, including certified HEC-trained teachers and NAHE ambassadors, by Dr. Sulaiman Ahmed, Director of NAHE; Prof. Huma Ali; Director QEC Dr. Abdul Wahid Usmani; and Registrar JSMU Dr. Azam Khan and Director Research Prof. Huma Shareef, Vice Chancellor Profesor Amjad Siraj Memon praised the program’s success, highlighting its significant contribution to academic excellence.
