Governor Tessori inaugrates Investment Expo

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurated the “InvestExpo” at the Expo Center, an event organized by Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited. In his inaugural address, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori highlighted the need to further improve Pakistan’s economic and social systems. He stated, “Today, we must think about the future of those who earn between 15,000 to 35,000 rupees per month.”

He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange. Governor Sindh also noted that the Pakistan Stock Exchange is at its highest level in history, but many people remain unaware, fearing that their money might be lost in the stock market. “It is essential to educate people about future trading,” he added.

Furthermore, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori stressed the need to strengthen the country’s economic system and support the youth. “To improve the national economy, everyone must stand together,” he said. He also pointed out that the government and the Army Chief are committed to working together for the betterment of the country. Governor Sindh praised the remarkable initiative of Prime Minister and Army Chief with the creation of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which he believes will ensure progress.

During his visit, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori was briefed about the different books available at the stalls. Children at the book stalls expressed their pleasant surprise upon seeing the Governor and took selfies with him. Speaking to the media later, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori praised the Karachi International Book Fair as a commendable initiative. He emphasized the growing decline in reading habits in society, stating that highlighting the importance of books is crucial at this time.

“I will personally purchase books from this fair and distribute them to universities in the province,” he announced. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori further emphasized, “We cannot be successful unless we form a bond with books. Encouraging the younger generation to become book lovers should be our top priority.” He added, “Reading books is essential for bringing change in life.” The Governor expressed concern about how the younger generation has distanced itself from books, leading them into social evils.
