KARACHI – December 25 has been declared a Public Holiday in Sindh for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas celebrations.
A notification shared by provincial authorities said the government of Sindh declares 25th December 2024 (Wednesday) as Public Holiday on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day / Christmas, for all Offices / Autonomous Bodies / Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh except those engaged in essential services.
December 26, 2024, Thursday will also be a holiday for Christian community to celebrate the annual event with zeal and fervour.
Quaid-e-Azam Day, marking the birth of Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is observed as a national holiday across Pakistan every year on December 25.
