ISLAMABAD – It’s the wrap-up time of the year, and Google revealed the most searched by people, as the list is dominated by athletes, showbiz stars, and internet personalities, showing a glimpse of popular trends in Pakistan.
The leading search engine shared different categories including Cricket, Entertainment, Tech/IA, and Famous People.
Most Searched People on Google in Pakistan
Arshad Nadeem
Golden Boy Arshad Nadeem made it to list of most Googled personalities. His javelin throw record of 92.97 meters, becoming the first Pakistani to win an individual gold medal topped Google searches.
Nadeem is one of Pakistan’s top athletes and is known for his strong performances in various regional and international competitions.
Sana Javed
Lollywood star Sana Javed – who married Shoaib Malik – also remained in top searches. Sana is known for her hit projects like Khaani, Ruswai and Dunk.
The duo announced their marriage to former cricketer in January this year, leaving fans, followers surprised.
Shoaib Malik
Pakistani cricketer also stormed top searches, after his divorce from Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and marriage to Sana Javed.
Malik, 42, represented the national team for some time. He captained Team Green from 2007-2009. The star player made his debut in One-Day Internationals in 1999 against the Windies and his Test debut in 2001.
Hareem Shah
Controversial TikTok star Hareem Shah, known for her scandals, and posts on TikTok, also made it to top searches. The social media star amased huge fan following with bold statements and provocative content.
Minahil Malik
Minahil Malik made headlines for all wrong reasons and even topped searches in Pakistan and India. She faced backlash after private, inappropriate videos were leaked online.
