ISLAMABAD – An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Umar Ayub in the Islamabad’s D-Chowk protest case.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra passed the order after hearing arguments.

Umar Ayub appeared before the court to seek the interim bail.

The court granted interim bail to Umar Ayub until December 16 in the case registered at Kohsar Police Station. T

he court also summoned the police with the case records on the next hearing.

It may be mentioned here that many workers of PTI are facing the cases for stagging protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad. Ali Amin Gandapur, Bushra Bibi and many other prominent leaders of the party were booked after Islamabad protest.

Barrister Gohar Khan, the PTI chairman, said that a list of missing PTI workers was prepared. He said that the list containing 200 PTI workers’ names. However, he was a bit careful while sharing figures about the missing PTI workers because, he said, he was not sure how many workers had gone missing.
