Tessori, Auranzeb discuss economic progress

Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori praised the government’s efforts in tackling economic challenges and highlighted the improvement in various sectors due to positive economic indicators. He expressed these views during a meeting with Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb at the Governor House. The finance minister also acknowledged the government’s support for investors and emphasized the crucial role of Governor Tessori in strengthening communication between the federal government and industrialists. Following the meeting, Governor Tessori and Finance Minister Aurangzeb visited the IT Market.

During their visit, the finance minister addressed students, applauding the Governor’s initiatives, especially in the IT sector, noting that while others only talk about IT, Governor Tessori had taken concrete actions. He further stated that the youth represent the future, and sectors like IT and agriculture play a pivotal role in economic growth. Governor Tessori, in his address to the students, mentioned his promise to open the doors of the Governor House to the public and emphasized his commitment to turning that promise into action.

Additionally, the finance minister inspected the ration bags during the ration drive and distributed them among the deserving.

He expressed his surprise and appreciation for the “Hope Bell” initiative, calling it a unique and innovative effort. The minister also reviewed historical items in the room dedicated to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and planted a tree as part of the ongoing tree plantation campaign at the Governor House.
