RAWALPINDI – Six Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom and twenty-two TTP militants, also known as Fitna al Khawarij, were eliminated during multiple operations in northwestern Pakistan, ISPR said Saturday.
The casualties were reported during an operation conducted on December 6,7 2024, in which twenty-two Khwarij were sent to hell.
ISPR said first intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in area of Gul Imam, Tank District on reported presence of khwarij. During the conduct of operation, our troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and resultantly, nine Khwarij were sent to hell, while six got injured.
In another operation, conducted by the Security Forces in North Waziristan District, ten Khwarij were successfully eliminated.
Armed forces also foiled militants’s attempt to attack check post in Thall District and killed three khwarij, however, during the intense fire exchange, six brave sons of soil were martyred.
Forces conducting sanitization operations to eliminate any other insurgents in the area as nation remained determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism, ISPR said.
