KARACHI – The much-anticipated Spotify Wrapped 2024 is here, and this time its rapper-songwriter Talha Anjum who rocked the show with the top spot.
The Wrapped 2024 data from a leading music streaming platform shows Talha Anjum as the most-streamed local artist in the country of 242 million surpassing Atif Aslam, who held the record since 2021.
Talha’s audience mushroomed in last decade as his rebellious songs like ‘Karachi Chal’ and ‘Kayn Talha’ made him famous, even across the border.
Wishes and Regrets crooner Umair secured second spot, with around 5.2 million monthly listeners. Atif Aslam ranked third followed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Talhah Yunus, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Hasan Raheem, Abdul Hannan, and Maanu.
