Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori underscored the importance of professional training for institutional growth and the development of skilled officers. He emphasized that adopting alternative energy solutions is crucial for addressing Pakistan’s ongoing energy crisis.

Speaking to WAPDA’s trainee executive engineers during a meeting at the Governor House, Governor Tessori noted their pivotal role in reducing line losses, a critical step in improving institutional efficiency. He remarked, “Curbing electricity theft could mark a turning point in the country’s economic progress.”

He urged the engineers to prioritize the reduction of line losses and electricity theft, stressing that these efforts would contribute significantly to WAPDA’s stability and profitability.

The governor also highlighted that their responsibilities would increase substantially after their promotion to superintendent engineers. Governor Tessori further encouraged the adoption of modern techniques and innovative approaches, particularly in renewable energy projects, to minimize reliance on traditional energy sources.

He assured the engineers of his support and called on them to contribute actively toward creating a sustainable and energy-efficient future for Pakistan.
