ISLAMABAD – All federal educational institutions will remain open on Saturday in Islamabad as authorities have revoked Saturday weekly off till February 1, 2025.

A notification issued by the relevant department said that all educational institutions, including schools will open on Saturday as it will be considered a working day.

The decision will come into effect from November 30 to Feb 1, 2025 for the period of two months. The authorities have abolished the one weekly off in order to cover the gap which occurred due to closure of schools for various reasons including protests.

Previously, there were two weekly offs on Saturday and Sunday for schools and other educational institutions.
