Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, marked the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by hoisting the Pakistan-UAE flag at a vibrant ceremony in Press Club Chowk (Fountain Chowk). The event was attended by UAE’s Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Rumaithi, and other members of the diplomatic community.
The grand celebration featured a spectacular fireworks display, creating a stunning visual spectacle in the heart of the city. Both Pakistan’s and UAE’s national anthems were played, filling the air with pride and unity. As the flags fluttered in the breeze, the event symbolized the strong and enduring bond between the two nations. Governor Kamran Tessori extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of the UAE on their National Day, highlighting the long-standing and strong relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
He noted that these ties have been built over years of mutual support and solidarity, especially during times of difficulty. He also expressed that the people of Pakistan share a deep emotional connection with the UAE, celebrating their happiness and successes as their own. Governor Tessori also mentioned the UAE Ambassador’s commitment to providing opportunities for Pakistani students in the field of information technology, ensuring a brighter future for young talent.
He emphasized the UAE’s keen interest in investing in Pakistan, further strengthening economic cooperation between the two nations. As a gesture of goodwill, Governor Tessori, alongside the UAE Ambassador, distributed gifts to children who raised the flags during the ceremony, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.
