LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the launch of new scheme to provide three-marla plots to people under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar initiative.

After coming into power in Punjab following the PML-N’s victory in Feb 8 General Election this year, Maryam Nawaz announced various projects aiming at providing relief to marginalised segment of the society. She also announced the provision of houses to the homeless people.

In latest development, she has approved the Punjab three marla plot scheme while chairing a meeting of her cabinet in Lahore on Friday.

Punjab 3-Marla Plot Distribution Update

The chief minister announced that the scheme will be started from Chistian city of Punjab, where 666 plots will be allotted to the citizens.

The provincial government is yet to share an update about the registration process for the three marla plot scheme. Details will be shared as soon as they are available online.

Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Loan

During the meeting, it was told that under the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” project, first installment of loans has been disbursed to 927 applicants.

It also approved gifting furniture and other essentials for the first five homes completed under the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” project.
