DUBAI – People who are applying for visit visas of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are required to ensure provision of all required documents in order to avoid application rejection.
Previously, the visitors were required to show proof of stay, return ticket and evidence of sufficient funds of 300 dirhams at the airport while boarding the flight.
In latest development, travel agents said the visitors are now required to submit the documents regarding proof of stay, funds evidence and return ticket before applying for a visa.
Proof of Stay
The proof of stay includes hotel book or residence of address of the relative where you will stay during the visit.
Evidence of Funds
The traveller is required to submit an evidence [bank statement] of possessing sufficient funds equivalent to currency of Dh3,000 while applying for the visa.
Return Ticket
The visitor is also required to submit an evidence of the return ticket.
The measures have been taken in order to stop the potential misuse of visit visa and ensure that the applicant can bear the expense of his/her stay in the UAE.
Travel agents said proof of stay, return tickets, and bank statements must be submitted during the application process to ensure approval of the visa.
