LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister’s Laptop Distribution Scheme has been finally announced to empower students and to boost education across the country’s most populated region, and excitement is building up as the government announced new version of laptops.
CM issued new directions for launch of laptops scheme under the Merit Scholarship Program with aim to enhance educational opportunities.

Core i7, 13th-generation laptops will be distributed this time.
In first phase, at least 35,000 laptops will be handed over to students by February 20, with 32pc of them going to Southern Punjab. The distribution targets 20,000 university students, 14,000 college students, 4,000 from agriculture and industry, and 2,000 medical and dental students.
To ensure merit and diversity, at least 2,000 minority students and top scores from Matric and Inter exams will receive a special Guard of Honour.
Experts commended Maryam Nawaz’s distribution of free laptops to eligible students to provide essential tools for online learning, research, and skill development. The latest computers will help young learners stay connected, access digital study resources, and boost your academic performance.
It will also open new opportunities to unlock new possibilities and excel in the age of communication as several students are even doing freelance work.
