Upon his arrival at the British Consulate, the Deputy High Commissioner warmly welcomed the Chief Minister. He stated that Sindh has long been a land of music, poetry, and art, and Sindhi artists have left an indelible mark on global music. He reiterated the government’s commitment to preserving this cultural legacy, mentioning initiatives like Sindhi Culture Day and various arts programs aimed at safeguarding the region’s heritage.
Murad Ali Shah emphasized that both Britain and Sindh share similar creative traditions that have significantly influenced global music and art. Reflecting on the importance of cultural exchange, he noted that such events foster new ideas, and through the exchange of talents and cultures, mutual respect and friendship flourish between nations.
