Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwar, a judge of the Federal Shariat Court, visited Dar-ul-Uloom Memon (DuUM) on Friday, where he delivered a special lecture on the transition to an interest-free economy. Following the lecture, he responded to questions regarding the 26th Constitutional Amendment and the recent rulings of the Federal Shariat Court.
The event was attended by key figures, including Dr. Mufti Yunus Ali, Head of the Islamic Finance Department at Dar-ul-Uloom Memon, Rizwan Naqshbandi, the Division Head of Law at the State Bank, Mufti Zia, Mufti Nauman Karim, and others. Justice Anwar expressed his appreciation for Dar-ul-Uloom Memon’s efforts in shaping skilled and capable individuals dedicated to eliminating the interest-based financial system. He commended the institution’s ongoing work, emphasizing that the scholarly contributions of Dr. Mufti Yunus Ali would play a crucial role in strengthening the foundation for an interest-free banking system.
