ISLAMABAD – A 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre said the earthquake occurred in depth of 220 kilometers in Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region.
Tremors were felt in Peshawar, Haripur, Malakand, Swabi, Abbottabad, Swat, Shangla, Khyber, Nowshehra and other adjoining areas.
However, no damages have been reported so far in the earth activity.
