ISLAMABAD – Lieutenant General (retd.) Moazzam Ejaz has been appointed as Acting Vice Chancellor of NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan.

The appointment follows a notification issued by Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, which stated that after consultations with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Lt. Gen. Ejaz has been entrusted with the additional charge for a period of 90 days, effective immediately.

This decision comes in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling of last month which directed federal education authorities to fill all vacant tenured positions at universities under federal jurisdiction. The ruling aimed at ensuring timely and transparent appointments within the country’s higher education sector.
