Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has intensified its campaign against illegal constructions across the province, with over 1,280 actions taken against unauthorized buildings in the past eight months, according to Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General Abdul Rasheed Solangi. In a key meeting chaired by Solangi in District Central, officials discussed ongoing operations against unlawful constructions.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem, along with assistant commissioners and building control officers, where a briefing on the progress in District Central was presented. Director General Solangi reported that more than 100 illegal structures have already been demolished in District Central. Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General Abdul Rasheed reiterated the SBCA’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on illegal constructions and emphasized the importance of cooperation with district administration to fully eradicate unauthorized developments.
SBCA Director General Abdul Rasheed instructed officers to submit daily reports on actions taken against illegal constructions, stressing the need for continuous monitoring. Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem assured full cooperation from the district administration, supporting the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) in its efforts to tackle unauthorized buildings.
