Federal Board of Revenue organized an awareness session on “Tax Culture in Pakistan” at Bahria University Islamabad. This seminar, held in collaboration with the Business School, was attended by both students and faculty members of the university.

Speaking in the occasion, Secretary (Tax Education) FBR, gave a comprehensive briefing on the current tax system in Pakistan. He emphasized the various initiatives FBR is undertaking to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the revenue collection system. He also encouraged the students to file their income tax returns and become Tax Ambassadors by spreading awareness about tax obligations within their communities.

The session concluded with a detailed question and answer segment, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speaker and gain further insights.

This initiative is part of FBR’s ongoing efforts to foster a better understanding of the tax system among the youth and to promote a culture of tax compliance in Pakistan.
