Teachers’ rude behaviour
I am a student in a university and have observed that while students experience so many teachers’ personalities in university life, each teacher has his own psyche and understanding toward a student. Yet when it comes to exam days’ teachers strangely adopt rude behaviour towards students followed by strict marking.
They are excessively strict and show improper behaviour sometimes taking revenge from students. Their rude personalities have a significant impact on most students’ lives and careers, leading to many students dropping out of their degree programmes halfway through. As a result, their careers are affected. I urge university management to start counselling sessions for teachers in order to bring a visible and positive improvement in their behaviour.

Economic obstacles Pakistan is currently confronting clearly demand pressing need for sustainable solutions to drive the nation towards prosperity. It is imperative for policymakers to take decisive action, prioritise welfare of all citizens and steer the nation toward sustainable growth and prosperity.

Troubling attitude
I have noticed a troubling trend of casual behaviour at funerals. While laughter can be a coping mechanism, making jokes at such solemn occasion can be deeply hurtful to those who are grieving. Funerals are a time for reflection, respect and remembrance. They provide an essential space for families and friends to honour their loved ones and process their loss. When humour is injected into these moments, it risks undermining significance of the occasion and can alienate those in mourning.
I believe it is vital to foster a culture of empathy and understanding surrounding death and funerals. Encouraging respectful conversations about grief and remembrance can help us support one another during difficult times.

The issue of high unemployment in our region requires urgent attention. With joblessness affecting a significant portion of population, it is crucial to explore effective solutions. To tackle this challenge, a focus on vocational training programmes is essential. These programmes can equip individuals with skills needed for in-demand jobs, enhancing their employability. Additionally, supporting local businesses through grants and low-interest loans can stimulate job creation and economic growth. Collaboration between government, private sectors and educational institutions will be vital in developing initiatives that address unemployment effectively. Highlighting successful models from other regions may provide insights into potential strategies.

Capital punishment for acid attack offenders and accomplices: It is proposed that any individual found guilty of perpetrating or abetting an acid attack should be sentenced to death.
The court should adjudicate the case at all levels within 15 working days, and if convicted, the offender and accomplices should be executed by public hanging within three days of the final verdict. (b) Capital punishment for food and medicine adulteration offenders: Any person involved in the adulteration of food, including bottled water, beverages, processed or unprocessed milk, foods, sweets, and the use of non-food-grade chemicals or colours, as well as manufacturing of substandard or harmful food products, medicines, should face death penalty. The legal process must be concluded at all levels within 15 working days, with public execution of the convicted parties within three days following the final judgment. (c) Life imprisonment for unnecessary caesarean surgeries: Medical professionals, including both licensed and unlicensed practitioners, who perform unnecessary caesarean surgeries, should be sentenced to life imprisonment.
Legal proceedings should be completed within 15 days. Furthermore, professional medical bodies should develop clear internationally aligned guidelines for caesarean operations.
This should include mandatory daily publication of relevant surgery statistics, including details of doctors, hospitals, and medical centres involved, on their respective websites.
