Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Monem Zafar Khan has condemned the mismanagement in Sindh following the Sindh High Court’s order for a retake of the MDCAT exam. Khan stated that the poor governance and inefficiency of the PPP-led government have unfairly burdened students, who now have to endure the taxing process again. Khan pointed out that the MDCAT paper leak has become a recurring issue, questioning the assurance of a transparent process in the future.
Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Monem Zafar Khan emphasized that the exam held on September 22 was marred by severe disorganization, causing thousands of students to endure mental and physical strain in extreme heat.
With only two examination centers in Karachi, the facilities were insufficient for the large number of candidates, and the leaked paper further cast doubts over the exam’s integrity. Khan urged authorities to establish a transparent and reliable system for medical college admissions and take strict action against those responsible for leaking the exam. He also called for an increase in the number of exam centers in Karachi to accommodate students effectively.
