Sardar Abdul Rahim, Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Secretary Information of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), has strongly condemned the Sindh government following a UNICEF report revealing that over 700,000 children in the province go to bed without dinner. He called the report a “slap on the face” of the corrupt rulers of Sindh, expressing deep sorrow over the alarming situation.

Sardar Abdul Rahim criticized the Sindh government, stating that the poverty-stricken children sleeping hungry is a humanitarian crisis and a matter of shame for the ruling elite. He added that the government’s claims of development and prosperity are mere deceptions aimed at misleading the public. Despite being rich in resources, the people of Sindh suffer from hunger and poverty due to poor governance and corruption, he said. He further accused the ruling mafia of planning to extract more illegal canals from the Indus River, leaving the people thirsty and hungry, while “Green Pakistan” initiatives are turning Sindh’s future bleak. Abdul Rahim urged the people of Sindh to reflect on how to rid themselves of these corrupt and anti-public leaders.
