A heartfelt condolence reference was held in honor of the late Dr. NabiBuxJumani, former Vice President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), where prominent figures paid glowing tributes to his invaluable contributions to education, curriculum development, distance learning, progress of university and research. Speakers fondly remembered his lifelong dedication to the promotion of knowledge, his affectionate personality, and his unwavering commitment to hard work.

Dr. NasirMehmood, Vice Chancellor of AllamaIqbal Open University (AIOU), highlighted Dr. Jumani’s unwavering honesty towards the teaching profession. “His students’ praise, both during his life and now after his passing, is a testament to his success,” he said, praying for Dr. Jumani’s eternal peace.

Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, President of IIUI, expressed profound sorrow at the irreparable loss. He remarked that Dr. Jumani’s departure has left a void that will never be filled. “He was a man of updated knowledge and innovation,” said Dr. Sarwar, emphasizing that his life remains a source of inspiration for academicians, administrators, and leaders. He added that after Dr. Jumani’s passing, many came forward to share how his influence had positively impacted their lives.

In an emotional address, Abdul KarimBuxJumani, the brother of the late Dr. Jumani, shared the grief felt by the family, but stressed the importance of patience during this difficult time, saying that we all belong to Allah.

Dr. AamirTuaseen, member of IIUI’s board of governors, remembered Dr. Jumani as a man of integrity and affection, while Dr. Naseer Ahmed Akhtar, also a board member, praised his commitment to education and his readiness to support the university’s progress. They said he was always found a man of immense love for the university.

Former Rector of IIUI, Dr. MasoomYasinzai, shared his reflections on the late Dr. Jumani’s leadership and scholarly contributions. He emphasized Dr. Jumani’s pivotal role in advancing academic initiatives at IIUI and beyond, and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of such an esteemed colleague.

Dr. HathalHomoudAlotaibi, former President of IIUI, recalled Dr. Jumani’s lasting legacy within the university.
