China Medical University President Wen Deling wrote a letter to King Edward Medical University VC and appreciated the services rendered by KEMU attached hospitals and telemedicine and corona helpdesk established by the university to provide medical assistance to the community.
“King Edward Medical University and attached hospitals are an example for other institutions” Said Wen Deling, President, China Medical University, Chairman of the Council Board, Belt and Road International Medical Education Alliance.
As chairman of the BRIMEA (Belt and Road International Medical Education Alliance), and president of China Medical University, he offered full support in fight against COVID-19. He also shared his views about medical and health personnel training, curriculum construction, scientific and technological innovation, and social services. We shall work together, help each other, enhance information exchange and promote academic cooperation and to be a positive force in promoting medical education.
He emphasised the urgent need to establish a public health and epidemic prevention system, strengthen the training of public health personnel and engage in scientific research.
He also extended his warmest solicitude to the medical staff who have been fighting the pandemic on the forefront.
The letter further read, “On behalf of the Belt and Road International Medical Education Alliance, I would like to extend my highest respect and warmest solicitude to the medical staff, educators and medical researchers of the alliance members who have been fighting the pandemic on the front”.
It’s worth mentioning that Kind Edward Medical University is founded member of BRIMEA and VC KEMU Prof Khalid Masood Gondal had twice meeting with china medical university both in Pakistan and China.
