LAHORE – The Punjab’s education department has revised the schools timings in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and other cities ahead of winter season.
A notification issued by the School Education Department stated that Schools will now open at 8:45 am and close at 2:45pm on weekdays (Monday to Thursday). On Fridays, classes will culminate at 12:45pm.
For double-shift schools, the first shift will end daily at 12:45 PM on weekdays while on Fridays the classes will end at 12pm. The second shift will run from 1 PM to 5 PM, extending to 2 PM to 5 PM on Fridays.

The notification also specified that teachers are required to arrive at school by 8:30am while they can return to their homes at 3 pm.
