Light rain expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, parts of Sindh

KARACHI – More rains and gusty winds are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Tuesday night.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave will likely approach northern parts of the country tomorrow.

Under these weather conditions, rains and gusty/dust raising winds are expected at isolated places in Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Jamshoro, Tharpakar, Umar Kot and Hyderabad on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province. Partly cloudy weather is likely in coastal areas.

Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 37-39°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 37-39°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. However, light rain/drizzle occurred at isolated places in coastal areas.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 46 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 45 per cent.
