LAHORE – The Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against violation of parking bylaws in Lahore.
On Tuesday, TEPA’s enforcement wing sealed 45 businesses on Khayaban-e-Firdousi in Johar Town for setting up encroachments on space designated for parking in violation of bylaws.
The sealed premises include Standard Chartered, Sindh Bank, Clinix Pharmacy, Depilex, Unique School, Hotel White Pearl, food outlet, clinic, private offices and other businesses.
TEPA’s Director Enforcement-II Jawad Kamran supervised the operations which were carried out with the help of Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fee defaulters in Lahore.
