Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hasan Naqvi, has instructed all Deputy Commissioners to intensify efforts to remove encroachments that obstruct traffic flow in their respective districts.  He emphasized that actions against these illegal structures should be effective and ensure that the cleared areas remain free of new encroachments.

The commissioner highlighted that encroachments on roads are a significant factor contributing to traffic congestion, causing inconvenience to the public. He urged that the removal of these obstructions be a continuous effort to improve the city’s traffic situation. In an update, Deputy Commissioner of District East, ShehzadFazalAbbasi, presented a report to the commissioner, stating that all encroachments obstructing traffic near the Pakistan Meteorological Department in Gulistan-e-Jauhar have been cleared.

This action has resulted in a smoother flow of traffic on this crucial route, easing the pressure on daily commuters.

The campaign against traffic-blocking encroachments is ongoing, with the city administration focusing on long-term solutions to keep Karachi’s roads clear and ensure the comfort of its residents.
