LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday sealed 56 illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fee defaulter premises in Lahore.
LDA Town Planning Wing teams sealed 20 buildings in Gulshan-e-Ravi, 16 in allama Iqbal town and 20 on Khayaban-e-firdousi, Johar Town
The sealed premises include Faysal Bank, Rainbow store, American Lycetuff, Unique School, JPS School, Stars Academy, pharmacy, food outlet, clinic, private offices and other businesses.
LDA Director Town Planning Zone-I, Director Town Planning Zone-II and Director Town Planning Zone-IV carried out operations in their respective jurisdictions with the help of enforcement teams and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fee defaulters in Lahore.
