Karachi, Hyderabad, Sindh weather update; scattered rains, gusty winds expected

KARACHI – Scattered rains and gusty winds are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Monday and Tuesday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A low pressure area lies over Southeast Arabia Sea.

Under these weather conditions, scattered rains and gusty winds are expected in Tharparkar, Nagarparkar, Umerkot, Mithi, Badin, Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Hyderabad and surroundings on Monday and Tuesday with occasional gaps. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the province.

Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 36-38°C on Monday and Tuesday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35-37°C on Monday and Tuesday.

Dadu and Nawabshah remained the hottest places in sindh where the maximum temperature was recorded at 39°C.

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 37°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 42 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 49 per cent.
