Former Pakistani actress Zarnish Khan has apologized to Dr. Zakir Naik for the difficulties he faced upon arriving in Pakistan.
Zarnish Khan left the showbiz industry for the sake of Islam and is currently not working in any dramas.
The former actress expressed her apologies in response to a viral video of Dr. Zakir Naik, in which he complained about additional charges for extra baggage imposed by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) upon his arrival in Pakistan.
In her post, Zarnish stated, “Our nation seems to think it is their duty to embarrass others. We should feel ashamed; this is a matter of shame. I sincerely apologize to Dr. Zakir Naik,”.
In the video, Dr. Naik mentioned that he arrived in Pakistan from Malaysia with 1,000 kilograms of luggage, and he had communicated with PIA’s country manager regarding this. PIA had offered him a 50% discount on the charges for the extra baggage.
However, Dr. Naik did not accept this offer and complained, saying, “In India, non-Muslims let me carry a thousand or two thousand kilos, but here in Pakistan, as a state guest, PIA officials are only offering a 50% discount.”
