Light rain expected in Karachi, coastal areas of Sindh

KARACHI – Light rain/drizzle is expected in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Wednesday night.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave prevails over upper parts.
Under these weather conditions, partly cloudy weather with light rain/drizzle is expected in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, very hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province. Partly cloudy weather likely in coastal areas.

Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 41-42°C on Thursday and Friday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 40-41°C on Thursday and Friday.

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. However, Mithi received 23 mm of rain.

Nawabshah and Karachi remained the hottest places in Sindh where the maximum temperature was recorded at 40°C. In Karachi, relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 56 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 39°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 70 per cent.
