ISLAMABAD — Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Irfan Memon starting a series of interactions with citizens at the district administration office to address public concerns and improve local governance.
During the meetings, Mr Memon reaffirmed his commitment to resolving residents’ issues and issued directives for swift action on identified grievances. “We believe that the district administration and the community can work together to find effective solutions to various challenges,” he stated.
Under Open Door Policy, he encouraged citizens to visit district administration offices to voice their concerns and share suggestions, and emphasized importance of public participation, inviting residents to contribute their ideas for enhancing the city’s development. “All district administration offices are open for citizens, and we are here to listen and take action on their behalf,” he added.
This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening communication between the district administration and residents. By actively seeking citizen input, Memon aims to ensure that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed in a timely manner, fostering a collaborative approach to local governance.
