QUETTA – Security forces have killed six terrorists of BLA, a militant outfit, during an operation conducted in Harnai area of Balochistan.
These terrorists were involved in direct attacks on security forces and innocent people. Defence experts have termed the killing of the terrorists a big blow to the BLA.
They said the success of security forces against the terrorists shows that the back of the terrorists has been broken.
The operation comes a couple of days after armed individuals attacked a gas company’s camp, kidnapping more than 20 labourers in Musa Khel district.
Reports said the attackers also opened fire on the camp located near the national highway and set fire to eight bulldozers before fleeing the scene with the abducted labourers.
The situation had raised concerns about the safety of workers and the security of vital infrastructure in the region.
Last week, gunmen killed seven labourers and injured one in the Panjgur district of Balochistan. The deceased are Sajid, Fiaz, Khalid, Shafeeq, Iftikhar, Salman and Bilal, while the injured is Ramzan.
