A fire erupted in solar panels and batteries godowns near Hawkesbay was controlled on late Tuesday evening with estimated loss of worth millions of rupees. According to report, fire incident occurred at a godown in the morning and due to inflammable solar panel materials extended towards another godown.
According to Rescue 1122, no loss of life or injury had been reported. Fire has been brought under control and fully extinguished at about 6 pm. The administration officials confirmed that after fire was controlled, the cooling work has been started. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
