The Indonesian Consulate General in Karachi hosted a diplomatic reception to celebrate Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day. The event welcomed prominent figures, including Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Culture Minister Zulfiqar Ali Shah, and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Hassan Norian, along with diplomats, government officials, and business leaders.
During his address, TeguhWiweko, Chargé d’Affaires of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, emphasized the enduring friendship and cooperation between Indonesia and Pakistan, which has flourished over 74 years of diplomatic relations.
He expressed optimism for further growth in trade, cultural exchanges, and educational partnerships between the two nations.
