LAHORE – The newly appointed Director General of Public Relations (DGPR), Ghulam Saghir Shahid, has assumed his office.
Upon his arrival at the Public Relations Department, he was welcomed by Additional Director General Abid Noor Bhatti, directors, and other senior officials.
Later, DGPR Shahid was briefed on various departmental areas including print, electronic, and digital media, the advertising sector, administration, the technical wing, and other departmental matters.
The Director General instructed all officers to work diligently to highlight the government’s people-friendly policies and initiatives in the media.
Heads of various departments were advised to pay special attention to the performance of their subordinate staff, ensure their attendance, and take timely necessary actions to resolve departmental matters as quickly as possible.
