Bosnian ambassador visits Islamabad school to witness smart learning, donates LCD as goodwill gesture

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina MrEminČohodarević visited the Islamabad Model School for Girls (IMSG) VI-X G-9/3 to witness the reforms and IT-related additions in the schools. On his arrival the Bosnian ambassador was received by Joint Secretary Ministry of the Federal Education & Professional Training (MFE&PT) Raja Rasheed Ali, Secretary (Enforcement & Coordination) FBR Mr. FaizanBadar, Principal MsRuqiaParveen and staff of the IMSG G-9/3.

The ambassador visited various sections of the school and praised the renovation and upgrading of the schools.

He also visited the upgraded I-T Lab, Science Lab, Robotics Lab, H.Eco Lab, Art gallery, Clinic, Visitors area, library, smart classrooms and auditorium.

The ambassador also held an interactive session with students and praised the students’ knowledge and self-confidence. The ambassador as a token of appreciation presented an LCD to the school as a gift.

According to a press release issued by the Bosnian embassy the ambassador’s visit was carried out as part of the “12 Days of Peace” campaign organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with the UN Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina,

During the visit, Ambassador Čohodarević toured the school’s classrooms and participated in an IT class, engaging warmly with students and teachers, said the press release of the embassy.

He delivered a brief lecture highlighting the unique aspects of Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized the critical role of education in fostering peace and promoting humanity, it further said.

As a token of goodwill, Ambassador Čohodarević presented an LCD screen to the school’s principal, RuqijaParveen. This equipment, donated by Dr. HuseinKavazović, Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will enhance the school’s capacity for sharing educational video content, said the statement.

The visit reinforced the commitment of both nations to the ideals of peace and education, celebrating the power of learning in bridging cultures and fostering mutual understanding.
