Irfan Urges Former Secretaries To Assist Govt In Media Related Issues

Senator Irfan-ul-Haque Siddiqui leader of PMLN and Chairman Foreign Relations Committee has said that each officer who has served as Federal Information Secretary is an institution into himself and urged them to train the youth as well as work as think tank to guide the government in media matters.

He expressed these views while talking to former Information’s Secretaries during a lunch hosted in his honour here on Thursday.

Members of the Forum of Information Group Secretaries who attended lunch includes retired Secretaries, Khawwja Ejaz Sarwar, Syed Anwar Mahmood, Mr Ashfaq Gondal,Chaudhry Rashid Ahmad,Ms Saba Mohsin,Ms Zahida Parveen,Mrs Shaherah Shahid,Mr Shafqat Jalil, and former PIO Rao Tehsin Ali Khan.

It is pertinent to mention that the forum meets every month and invites a prominent personality to discuss media affairs as well as issues of national interest.
