Odho vows enhanced security for North Karachi industries

Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, JavedAlamOdho, has pledged to enhance security in the North Karachi industrial area, promising full cooperation to local industrialists. In a commitment to improving law and order, he stated that all necessary resources would be deployed, and strict measures would be taken against criminals to ensure a peaceful environment for the industrial community.

Odho made these assurances during a meeting with a delegation comprising Faisal Moiz Khan, President of the North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI); Chief CPLC Zubair Habib; Senior Vice President NKATI Shabbir Ismail; Vice President NaeemHaider; Deputy Chief CMC-NKATI Syed Yasir Ali; and Assistant Chief CMC ShehzadElahi.

During the discussion, Faisal Moiz Khan expressed concerns regarding the unsatisfactory security situation in the industrial area, advocating for initiatives to establish lasting peace and order. He thanked the Additional IG for allocating additional personnel to the crime monitoring cell and extended the industrial community’s support, emphasizing that a thriving industrial sector is essential for national prosperity. Khan further highlighted that creating a conducive environment for the industrial community would lead to increased production activities and exports, thereby helping the country navigate its economic challenges and deficits. This proactive approach by the Karachi Police reflects a commitment to fostering a secure and productive industrial landscape in the region.
