A vibrant gathering of the English Speaking Union of Pakistan (ESUP) was held at local hotel, featuring the esteemed Miles Young, Chairman of the English Speaking Union and Warden of Oxford University, UK, as the guest speaker. The event attracted a diverse audience, including ESUP members, diplomats, and prominent educationists.
Young delivered an engaging presentation on the importance of higher education, spotlighting the exceptional programs available at Oxford University.
He also highlighted the annual Public Speaking Competition, a flagship event of ESU International, which invites students from chapters around the world to compete. The national winner will earn the opportunity to represent Pakistan in the international competition in London. An interactive Q&A session followed Young’s address, where discussions centered around the implications and future of Artificial Intelligence, generating lively and thought-provoking dialogue among attendees.
