Chief Secretary of Sindh, Asif Haider Shah, conducted a visit to the Saddar area, where he expressed strong discontent regarding encroachments and the poor condition of roads. During his inspection, he emphasized that such issues will not be tolerated in the city. In response to the prevailing situation, the Chief Secretary suspended Taluka Municipal Commissioner Saddar, Noor Hassan Jokhio, along with Mansoor Hussain Sheikh, Deputy Director of the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board. Asif Haider Shah reiterated the government’s commitment to improving cleanliness and infrastructure, directing immediate measures to enhance the city’s waste management system. He stressed that efforts will be made to eliminate encroachments and ensure better urban management across Sindh.
