Latest excise fee for registration of 1000cc to 2000cc cars [Honda City, Yaris, Corolla]

LAHORE – The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department is competent authority to register vehicles registration in order to maintain the record and collect taxes.

The department registers both locally manufactured and imported vehicles to maintain a comprehensive database of all registered vehicles in Punjab, which helps in tracking and monitoring vehicles for various purposes.

After registration procession is completed, the department issues registration certificates and number plates for vehicles. It is essential to keep the registration document of the vehicle if you are going to resale it.

The department offers a complete fee structure for new registration of vehicles. It offers fixed registration fee for various motorcycles of up to 150cc.

For motorcycles with engine capacity above 150cc and other vehicles, including cars, the new registration fee is assessed on the basis of the value of the vehicle.

Here, we have gathered details of registration fee of cars ranging from 1000cc to 2000cc and above. Honda City all variants, Honda Civic, Toyota Yaris, Toyota Corolla, KIA Sportage, MG cars, and others fall in this category.

New Registration Fee for Cars of 1000cc to 2000cc in Punjab

The excise department collects 1 percent in wake of new registration fee for vehicles not exceeding 1000cc. For instance, if your vehicle costs Rs2.5 million, you will pay Rs25,000 in wake of registration fee.

Similarly, it charges 2% of the vehicles value for registration of those exceeding 1000cc but not more than 2000cc.

The excise department collects 3% of the value in wake of registration fee for cards exceeding 2000cc.
