RIYADH – Saudi Arabia has announced two public holidays on September 22 and 23 (Sunday and Monday) on account of the 94th Saudi National Day.
Reports said the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development made the announcement regarding the holidays.
It said all public, private and civil service sectors will observe the holidays.
With the announcement of two holidays, the celebrations for the National Day would continue for four days as September 22 and 23 holidays precedes the weekly offs on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20 and 21.
The National Day holiday is a paid holiday for employees in all government and private sectors, according to what was stated in the second paragraph of the Saudi Labor Law, the ministry said.
The Saudi National Day will be celebrated on September 23, Monday.
