DIG Dharejo urges new recruits to combat crime with integrity

The 178th passing-out parade at the Police Training College Shahdadpur witnessed a significant ceremony with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hyderabad Tariq RazzakDharejo serving as the chief guest. Addressing the new police recruits who completed their training, DIG Dharejo highlighted the critical importance of integrity and dedication in their roles.

DIG Dharejo emphasized the necessity for the recruits to apply their training to effectively combat crime and drug trafficking in Sindh. He urged the newly trained officers to leverage their skills to positively serve the public and tackle current security challenges.

Dharejo pointed out that the police force faces substantial challenges, particularly in addressing dacoity in the katcha areas. He stressed the need for modern facilities and equipment to enhance their effectiveness in these operations. Principal ZahidaParveen of the Training College assured that the institution is committed to providing recruits with state-of-the-art training to meet contemporary needs and ensure public safety.

She highlighted that efforts are underway to equip the new officers with the best possible preparation for their duties. A total of 578 recruits graduated during the ceremony, including 228 female constables.

The passing-out recruits showcased various skills, and DIG Dharejo expressed satisfaction with their performance. He extended his congratulations to the principal and the graduating personnel for their achievements and readiness to embark on their new roles in law enforcement.
