PESHAWAR – The Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar has increased the fee for emergency and OPD services.
The spokesperson for public hospital said the fee for emergency and OPD services has been increased by Rs30.
He stated that the registration fee for both medical facilities has now been set at Rs50. This increase in registration fees was approved by the hospital’s Board of Governors.
The spokesperson explained that taking such steps is necessary to manage the hospital’s operations effectively.
The hospital is named after Lady Reading, the wife of the Viceroy of India, Lord Reading. It is the biggest hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, providing various care facilities.
The out-patient clinic sees hundreds of patients per day while the number of cases received at the Accidents and Emergency department is above 2,000 per day.
