Punjab announces significant decrease in court fee [Latest Fee Structure]

LAHORE – The Punjab government has announced a significant decrease in court fees as a notification has been issued

Following the approval of Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider, the Board of Revenue Punjab has issued the notification.

The one-time court fee for obtaining a certified copy of an order or judgment from a Civil Court has been set at Rs100, while the one-time fee for obtaining a certified copy from the high court has been set at a Rs500.

The notification also specifies that under the Punjab Tenancy Act 1887, the court fee for revision petitions to the Board of Revenue or Commissioners is set at Rs500.

It adds that under Section 15 of the CPC, the court fee for revision petitions to the high court is also set Rs500.

Additionally, for customs, excise, land revenue, and civil court cases with a value of less than 10,000 rupees, the court fee for applications has been reduced to Rs10.

Similarly, for court revenue or rent applications, the court fee has been reduced to 10 rupees from the previously set Rs500.
