Undersecretary DFA Philippines Eduardo Jose A. de Vega has visited Pakistan on the special invitation of Her Excellency Maria Agnes M. Cervantes, the Ambassador of the Philippines. It is Undersecretary’s first official of Asia and started with Karachi . The purpose of the visit is to underscoring the growing significance of bilateral relations between the two nations, launching the Pakistan-Philippines Alumni Website and to improve cultural exchange between two countries. In this regard a special dinner ceremony marked with a cake-cutting celebration was held at a lical hotel.
In recognition of Undersecretary de Vega’s contribution to strengthening diplomatic ties, Dr. Imran Yousuf, Chairman, Transformation International Society, presented the commemorative shield and a set of his authored books to him.
