A suspected robber and a passerby were killed during an exchange of fire between police officials and suspects in the SITE Super Highway Industrial Area police jurisdiction. The encounter took place near Al-Noor Society on the Super Highway, where a suspect was killed while his alleged accomplice fled under the cover of fire.
A passerby named Syed Kashif was also killed by “the firing of the suspects”, according to the police. They also claimed to have found a weapon, a mobile phone and cash on the deceased, and impounded the stolen motorbike he had been riding. DSP SohailFaiz said the robbers.
